About Wheaton Area Schools
Wheaton Area Schools is located in beautiful West-Central Minnesota, just minutes away from the North and South Dakota borders. Our community is rich in agriculture, recreation and those that seek an outdoor experience. Our pheasant and deer hunting, along with fishing for walleye on beautiful Lake Traverse are second to none. Wheaton Area Schools takes pride in its quality of education. Our staff focuses on offering our students the best educational experiences with the latest technologies. Wheaton Area Schools are comprised of two school buildings within the community of Wheaton, Wheaton Secondary (grades 6-12) and Pearson Elementary (PreK-5). The school district has approximately 350 PreK-12 students.
