The Wheaton Area School District seeks an energetic Part-Time Special Education Teacher to work in our district. The position will be no more than .5 FTE, with the possibility of increased FTE in the 26-27 school year. This postion will begin the 16th of March, 2026 in a shadowing capacity and working independently starting March 23rd, 2026. Wheaton Area Schools is looking for a part‑time Snow Removal/Repair Technician to perform snow and ice removal, operate snow‑removal equipment, and handle mechanical repair and maintenance of grounds equipment. Snow removal will generally take place prior to 5am when needed. The position is an off-schedule position and starts at $16.71/hour. Scheduling will be done as needed with a maximum of 39 hours per week, and all hours must be pre‑approved by the superintendent. Candidates should have mechanical aptitude or experience servicing small/large engines and outdoor equipment, be comfortable working in cold and inclement weather, and be able to perform physical tasks; prior snow‑removal experience is a plus. Wheaton Area Schools is seeking a 5-12 Instrumental Music Teacher for the 25-26 school year.
As the 5-12 director, you will direct four (4) ensembles within the district. There is additional time built into the daily schedule for individual/group lessons with students.
