Traverse Electric will send one area youth to the 2026 Youth Tour to Washington DC. To be eligible, applicants should be a high school sophomore, junior or senior, between the ages of 16-18, and a child or dependent of a current Traverse Electric member. The dates of the 2026 Youth Tour are June 15-20, 2026. This is an all-expense paid trip. Please see Mrs. Hersch if you are interested or would like more information.
There are a few 4-H events coming up. Packets are in the office for anyone who is interested.
A leadership class at Concordia Language Villages is happening on Saturday. Feb. 7-Sunday Feb. 8. Today is the last day to sign up.
The annual White Earth Tribal 4-H Cultural Winter Camp is on Jan. 24th and 25th.
A 4-H Ambassador Group starts on Jan. 26th with several dates after. Here students can grow leadership skills and give back to their community while meeting during their lunch hour in the auditorium. Flyers for all of the above events are in the office.
